Sarah Jones born on 31 August 1985 is an English musician based in London, best known for her work as a session and touring drummer. Growing up in the heart of the English countryside, she discovered her musical talent early. First, she played the piano, but it just didn’t stick with her. Her cousin, who was learning drums at the time, taught her a basic beat.

On the weekends, her father’s friends would come and play music with him. Sarah would sit and observe them, and then she would join in. She began drumming in local bands soon after and went on to tour the UK and Europe.

Also, she has written and performed three electro-pop songs under the name “Pillow Person,” which is her solo project.

She is a founding member of NYPC and has also served as a touring drummer for musicians such as Aynsley Lister, Bat for Lashes, post-punk revival band Bloc Party, and synth-pop band Hot Chip. In 2020, she played drums on the Puscifer album Existential Reckoning.
