The Alchem-E Perfect Tune Headphones offer Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology with two distinct modes. The first is the standard ANC mode which blocks out external noise and keeps you locked in with your music. The second, designed specifically for drummers, is known as Play-Along mode. The distinctive Play-Along mode blocks out external noise whilst letting your drum kit bleed through and dampening the sound of the drums in the playback track by about 50%.

As a result, drummers can practice and play along with their most loved music or a song they’re learning with a balance of their drum kit and the track itself.

The Alchem-E Headphones use 40mm dynamic drivers that deliver a wide 8Hz to 40kHz frequency response. Sound profile customization is available in the Zildjian app. Furthermore, the new Zildjian headphones offer a remarkable 45 hours of playtime – with ANC activated!

Bluetooth 5.3 meanwhile ensures a stable wireless connection with low latency between your headphones and playback device.

The headphones come with come with a 6-foot 3.5 mm aux cable for wired connectivity which will be particularly handy in studio applications.

Zildjian has focused on comfort and durability with the Alchem-E Headphones. They’re built with replaceable ear cushions and a replaceable headband liner too.

Despite being slightly on the heavier side at 12.5 ounces, their build quality and design make them ideal for extended use. Finally, the cans come with USB-C charging and a soft silicone carrying case.

The Alchem-E Perfect Tune Headphones are available in three color options (Black, Midnight, and Sandstorm) and are priced at approximately $399.95.

Of course, this places them in the premium range and will be unaffordable for smaller budgets. But with their added features tailored specifically toward drummers, the Zildjian Alchem-E Headphones do set themselves apart from other premium headphones like the Eddfier STAX S5.
